Gieves & Hawkes

Gieves & Hawkes, prestigious tailors at No 1 Savile Row are one of the oldest bespoke tailoring companies in the world and renowned for crafting military uniforms for the British armed forces. They not only have associations with Lord Nelson for tailoring the very uniform he died in at the Battle of Trafalgar but also made their mark in music history for designing the resplendent military uniform Michael Jackson wore for his Bad tour during the 1980’s.

Pioneers of ready-to-wear suits in the 1930’s, Gieves & Hawkes still offer this service today along with made-to-measure, however, it is their bespoke suits, each taking over 60 hours of hand crafting to the client’s unique specifications that are considered to be the ultimate investment.
