Huntsman, the Savile Row tailor was established in 1849. Not only did it boast a number of Royal Warrants from past English Kings and Queens but also attracted many of the Hollywood film legends. It has been said that Gregory Peck, who purchased over 160 suits, wore Huntsman on a daily basis, even when taking the kids to school.
Known originally as being breech makers, Huntsman made Queen Victoria’s riding habits and in recent years made a leather pair for the Prince of Wales. Today Huntsman still create its trademark bespoke suits, however, it now also offers ready-to-wear garments and accessories in both London and New York.
