Welsh & Jefferies

Welsh & Jefferies, traditional bespoke tailors, are a relatively small company but with an extremely high profile customer base. It was during WW1 they were to build esteem and distinction as military tailors and in 1990 the company were awarded a Royal Warrant by H.R.H the Prince of Wales for their prowess in military craftsmanship.

Owner James Cottrell who started his tailoring career at the age of sixteen took over the business in January 2012. In the meantime, junior partner Yingmei Quan who duly boosted her reputation as female cutter by winning The Golden Shears award in 2011 now attracts an ever-growing female client base for the company.
